“Open 5K Fun Run”
10:45am-Women’s race (5K)
11:30am-Men’s race (4 miles)
SCORING: Top
five score, 6 and 7 displace.
AWARDS: Fun
Run- Top two men and women will receive t-shirts. Women’s and
Men’s
race-individual awards to top 10. Team awards top two teams.
ENTRY FEE: $50.00
per team per race. No “discount” for incomplete teams. Entry fee for the fun
run is $10.00 per athlete. Entry fees must be paid to receive your packet.
TRAINER: There
will be a trainer on site. Bring your own tape.
T-SHIRTS: Will
be on sale at the snack bar.
FINISH CARDS: Every
athlete will receive a finish card. Write the athletes name on the
card and
hold on to it. This is our “back-up” scoring system. If we need
these, we
will let you know.
FINISH CHUTE: Athletes need
to exit the end of the chute. If an athlete fails to exit the
End of the chute, they will be
disqualified.
COURSE MARKING: The course is marked
with color-coded flags. Course maps are included with your packet.
WARNING: Please
advise your athletes, coaches, parents, etc., that they are not
allowed to
stand in the street along
This has been a problem area with
people blocking traffic. You will
subject
yourself to a citation from the H.B.P.D.
RESULTS: Will
be available to all coaches at the meet and posted on www.directathletics.com
