Technical Information

 

1.      Coaches and non-competing athletes and spectators shall not be permitted in areas of competition. Unless they are working an event.

 

2.      Implements must be weighed in between 9:00am and 10:30am. (Located in storage shed next to baseball field). Illegal implements will be impounded until the conclusion of the meet. Implements will be delivered to the event site 30 minutes before the competition. Implements will also be checked for approval at the site of the event.

 

3.      Athletes must check in with the official at the event.  Track athletes must check in at the Clerk of the Course prior to the start of competition. 

 

4.      Honest Effort rule will be used for this meet

 

5.      Uniform rules are in effect. See NCAA rules. Remember uniforms must be school issued.

 

6.      Protest forms are provided. Turn form in to the announcer no more than 30 minutes after the announcement of the results. Protest fee is $25.

 

7.      The warm up areas are located on the grass fields outside the stadium. On west end across the street toward baseball field. On east end across street.

 

8.      No personal sound systems, cell phones, etc., permitted in areas of competition.

 

9.      The COA decorum policy is in effect as well as the NCAA

 

10.  Spikes 3/16” or ¼” needle spikes only

 

11.  Athletic Trainer will be on site located on east end of stadium. Please provide your own tape.

 

12.  Javelin will be thrown on grass field
