Southern Cal Prelims and Finals Parking and Entrance Instructions

Please read this.  Parking at Mt. SAC is different now.  The old way is gone.  Reading this will make your life easier on meet day!

Parking and Equipment Drop off

·         School vans that have the school name on them and busses will be allowed to park for free.  ALL OTHER VEHICLES will be charged to park.  Parking is $3.00

 

·         ALL teams must enter through the front of the stadium, our MAIN entrance. (North End).

 

·         No busses will be allowed SOUTH of Temple Blvd.  If you turn onto Bonita in your bus and attempt to park or drop off you will be directed to an exit and not allowed to unload.

 

·         Busses must drop off at Lot F by the entrance to the tunnel.  (North side of Temple) The tunnel will bring your team to the MAIN entrance of the stadium.

 

·         VANS  will be allowed to drive to the MAIN entrance and drop off equipment.  Once you have dropped off your equipment you must drive out and park your van as directed. Make sure you follow the directions of the college’s parking control personal.  Please coordinate with your athletes to meet you and assist you.

 

·         HAMMER PARTICIPANTS NOTE:  The above regulations apply to you as well.  No vehicles will be allowed past the parking kiosk on the road leading to the hammer ring.  ALL participants, including hammer participants will enter through the front of the stadium.

 

·         Gates – Do not climb gates; do not allow your team to climb over gates.  Any athlete doing so is in danger of being removed from the stadium by our Parking and Security department.  That may cause them to miss their event.  Don’t risk it.  EVERYONE must enter the stadium through the front MAIN gate.

 

Entry Process

·         Packet pick up will take place at the Stadium Box Office located at the north entrance of Hilmer Lodge Stadium.

·         Your entire packet will be given to the first coach from your team to arrive. That person will be responsible to distribute and coordinate your team’s entry. We will not hold packets for individual distributions and we will not give anything out to an athlete without a coach.

·         Hours for pick up will be:

Friday May 6th 8:00 am until 3:00 pm

 Friday, May 13th 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

·         All participants and coaches must wear a wristband for admission into the stadium. Holding it in your hand or showing it to the front gate worker will not suffice.  The wrist band must be on your wrist.

·         You will receive one wristband for each athlete competing.  Six (6) additional wrist bands will be provided for your staff (coaches, managers, trainers).Any extra staff and or combination of managers etc will have to purchase a ticket at the Stadium Box Office.

·         All packets will be organized by school name.  Men and Women will not be separated.  Please plan for that and work together.
